Increasingly Server Rooms are getting more and more crowded with Critical Systems Equipment.
The result is that the majority of Server Rooms require air-conditioning. Should the air-conditioning fail or under perform then the likelihood of a temperature related failure increases dramatically.
The T4-Sentinel has been designed specifically to provide warning of potential Server Room failure due to faulty or under performing air conditioning.
It monitors and records the temperature in critical areas of the room and should any of these go outside pre set limits it activates a local alarm and sends SMS text messages to up to 6 mobile phones providing advance warning of failure 24-7, 365 days of the year. Two input contacts are also available to monitor air conditioning fault or un-authorised entry.
Maintenance staff and IT managers know instantly if there is a problem and can act quickly to avoid a system failure.
The Sentinel stores a three-month record of temperature history to aid fault diagnosis and to provide guidance for planned maintenance schedules.
